The
Pulp and Paper Manufacturers Association (PPMA) is comprised
of union and non-union manufacturing companies involved in:
- Producing
pulp.

Producing paper products.
- Converting
paper products.

Producing and converting products allied with the paper
industry or supplying parts or equipment to the pulp, paper
and converting industries.

Since 1936, the Pulp and Paper Manufacturers Association
(PPMA) has provided human resource services to the pulp
and paper industry. Originally serving member companies
in the geographic areas around the Great Lakes and Upper
Midwest, PPMA has expanded to provide these same services
to companies from Canada to Kentucky and as far east as
Maine and New Hampshire.
- PPMA
is dedicated to assisting pulp, paper and converting industry
member organizations nationwide to improve business performance
by providing distinctive, high quality human resource services.
Through
publications, surveys, and semi-annual membership meetings,
PPMA actively:
- serves
as a primary source of information on labor settlements
and current human resources, governmental and related operational
issues.
- provides
a forum for presenting, sharing, and recognizing innovative
solutions to human resources issues.
- offers
networking opportunities for human resources professionals
through involvement in periodic meetings and association
committees,
- functions
as a catalyst for bringing forth issues of future importance
to member organizations in the context of a changing work
environment.
